Paraden celebrates the gooseberry

The gooseberry is tart, sweet and beautiful and goes just as well with fish and meat as it does with a healthy dessert. The neighborhood pub Paraden at Valhallavägen is celebrating with a summery gooseberry menu:

Spicy rack of lamb glazed with gooseberries served with tomato chutney

Whole grilled perch with gooseberry salsa, herb-boiled potatoes, sugar snap peas and lemon butter

Fire cooked manchego with gooseberry and bay leaf marmalade

Rhubarb soup with boiled rhubarb and gooseberries. Served with gooseberry sorbet, cake crumbs and raw rhubarb
