New Zealander Jess and her sommelier husband Dave Murphy moved to Ireland and turned a small flower shop in Galway into a renowned and award-winning pub. Kai is today a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant and has a green Michelin star for its sustainability work. Jess cooks with a focus on the seasons and collaborates with local producers. “Our producers have become our family”, she says. “You will find what is in season on the plate”.
Kai is the Maori word for food.
Now Jess Murphy is visiting Stockholm for the first time, and serves cheese and charcuterie from small-scale Irish craft producers and tartar on Irish lamb.
